I'll be interested in how well the 2015 Lime-a-Rita has aged. I am cellaring several myself. I thought about wearing my cut-offs but really don't want to get all dressed up.

Yea I was more or less implying that 3 Floyds could call/email their eTix Account Rep and help him resolve his issue, but that they wouldn't because that is why eTix got the contract so they could handle all the BS.

Its also not really their style... lol

 

This is my first DLD, and am not sure about how much i should bring to share. with that being said i am planning on bringing.....

Yeah...not really known for going out of their way to achieve high customer service and satisfaction scores.

 

It was gift from sister. Never really wanted it and tried getting rid of it a couple of times. I noticed it the cellar last week. I'll bring it for those that dare. I image that it's a barley wine by now. Got to drink it some time.

 

I've seen more people saying their bringing ipa as a change of pace from all the stouts than I have seen people saying their bringing stouts..

And to the people saying they are only bringing a few bombers, why not bring more, if you don't open it just take it back home, no harm/no foul. Better than being the guy out of beer by noon mooching pours.

Hoping that will last me through the weekend but might fill another six shipper unless we bring a keg of cw bourbon barrel stout, but the liquor store is unsure if they want to sell that to me just yet.

 

Are there shares taking place the eve before at basically all of the local area hotels? I'm staying at the Residence Inn with some buddies and we're trying to find a share for Friday evening. Cheers!

 

Should be! Head down to the lobby with some brews or find a crew staying at your hotel and have a share in the room.

 

First time ever attending DLD and excited to hang out with everyone!! Question for the vets is (knowing I'm carrying it around all day) how many cans of Hoof Hearted do I bring? I know it's been pretty limited for people to try and definitely want to share. Also bring a few other bombers. Thanks in advance!

 

Whatever you're comfortable carrying. Maybe a four-pack with the bombers? I wouldn't go higher than six cans to carry around at one time with the bombers.

Sorry late to the party but hopefully yall can answer some questions for me. If im not actually staying at the Hampton can I still come to the share and what time does it usually start? On Saturday I assume we sit in line and share until the gates open....do the bottles I take into the event have to fit in my backpack or can I carry them in as long as they are sealed?

 

I had a backpack and carried additional bottles in one of those 6-pack tote bags. They didn't care.

Yes, people show up at the Hampton and share then leave. Last year it was pretty cramped though. Should start around 8 or whenever people show up and get to it. It's not organized as far as I know, people just descend on the lobby and start drinking and the staff rolls with it.

Saturday - Yes, start drinking coffee stouts at sunrise and eventually they'll let you in. I don't think there are rules.. carry your beer in, throw it in, use a trebuchet, whatever (Just kidding, put it in a soft backpack and haul it in on your back, you'll want your hands free to grab glassware, BA Dark Lord, guest taps, hot sauce, food, coffee beans, etc.)

 

I'll be at the north gate before sunrise! Bring breakfast.

 

If you are on Facebook someone has started a Hampton Inn Friday night share group. About as organized as it will prob get.
