This is my strategy as well. I'd like to avoid wearing them, but I'd much rather wear them than get too messy. I'm semi-hopeful the weather will swing in our favor.

I know we don't get a taplist prior, but do people know of breweries that have confirmed they will be there and/or pouring something in particular? I know Pipeworks said they'll be pouring Sunburst Peacock and Cinnamon (I think) Abduction. I know Surly said they would be there as well, but that's about all I know.

I finally just got this e-mail as well. Bummed about the non-availability of variants but happy just to be able to go. Now to finalize the backpack list/trade bait list

 

You can add Crooked Stave to the guest tap list. They'll be pouring 2 beers but haven't decided which ones yet.

For those of you with will call tickets/ticket issues, after the nightmare that was last years experience, Floyds replied to someone on twitter that the ticket resolution tent would be open at 0900. So, that's something.

 

A number of us from Ohio are staying at the Hampton Inn in Schererville this year and will be having a bottle share like the one we had last year. If you are staying there or want to partake, stop by around 7 Friday evening to join in the fun. We will probably do a round two Saturday night too

This is just one other option to the bottle share at the Hampton Inn in Munster.

How many are going to the Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery pre-fest? It's not that far from my house and they are my favorite place to go so I'd love a reason to head out there.

Also, I was looking over what I have, which is not much, and I do have one bottle of Prairie Bomb and a couple bottles of the most recent W00tstout, which I'd be willing to bring one of the bottles with me. Would it be worth to bring them on Saturday?

Oh, and one more question....so saying I do bring them, how do I do that and not spill them all over the place? I could try to put a cap on it, but it seems moving around would shake it up and pop it. Sorry, this may be dumb question, I just don't get the logistics. Or would it be more for trading the whole bottle and not exchanging sips?

 

It is always worth bringing. I'll have mostly stouts and barleywines, maybe some sours, ok some IPAs

People will want to try those beers. Bomb doesnt quite distro everywhere and surely there will be people who either missed the wootstout release or have never had it. I think your pretty safe to walk around with an opened bottle. There will also be tables where you can open and place your bottles along with other bottles being shared
