I have little mini glass mason jars (6oz?) that I think will work very well. They're hard to break and small enough that I won't hog the whalez

 

I'm hopeful for this as well....but certainly planning for the worst case scenario.

 

Now that I think about it the FOBAB mason jars from this year might work pretty well.

 

Why bring sand to the beach?

yeah i thought about that....it's a little bulky with the set-up I have (lanyard with carabiner). It also holds a lot more fluid which for me is a negative....I don't want to accidentally get boss pours............I think.

Lanyard, carabiner, mini mason jar (Target or Walmart...mini salt and pepper shakers). I've used this for the last 3 years and it's a perfect option.

 

those are pretty nice! The mini mason jar is about 4oz I believe.....

so there are 6 beer locations. Is it same to assume that one of these will be regular floyd's stuff, 1 will be guest taps, and the other 4 can really just be any thing at any time? Or do they all have guest taps and randomness going on everywhere?

 

If memory serves, I believe from prior years the two green beer locations side by side on the north end are the guest taps while the other 4 spread out are FFF taps.

 

From my experience, *MOST* guest taps are usually in the two beer tents right next to each other, North of the big tent on the map right above.

The other single-tents are usually 3F's beers, including dark lord. This is also where you'll potentially find the variants on tap as well, though they're completely random. You can find regular dark lord on tap all day for the most part at certain beer tents.

Yeah, the two top green ones are, or at least were definitely guest taps.

 

2015 DLD Chalice. Go big and then quickly have to go home.
