FYI for those with a Sports Authority in the area. Many of the stores are closing and blowing out merchandise. I picked up a pair of Columbia rain pants for 50% off (much like they'll be at about 6pm tomorrow).

 

I am intrigued and disturbed by this photo. BTW, I'll buy you a beer if I see you sporting that look tomorrow.

 

I was expecting a bit more barrel character from the Imperial Magpie but both are great. I think it'll be a good morning drink. Coffee + sweet + high-ish abv to start you out.
I brought two bottles so I'll definitely share some

http://www.melicafe.com/ is about a 3 minute walk from Jaks and is open at 6am. Never been there but seems as good a place as any for the early shuttle folks.

 

Yep, only at the New Day taproom in Indy. In case you're interested, they're doing a special release of it on May 7.

A couple buddies and I are doing Lou Mitchell's, like we did last year. It is only a few blocks away and opens at 7. Quick, greasy, and pretty good.

Has anyone left their car overnight near FFF or in centennial park? Just wondering if I'll get towed.

 

You won't be able to leave your car near FFF overnight. Can't vouch for the park but I would assume no as well.

 

Yes, me and/or my friends have parked cars there overnight, and had no issue. The roads (Superior and Indiana for sure) where no parking is allowed are clearly marked, but there's been street parking along Progress and Valparaiso.
