It's one of the best ways to kill time in line (inside the event) when you're waiting to purchase Dark Lord!

Hell, people have bottle shares while waiting in line to get the beer on tap.

Is it easy to find each stand? For example if I want a glass, will I easily find where they are sold?

Or if I want coffee, will I easily find Dark Matter?

Basically is everything arranged where it can be spotted or do you have to go hunting for the stands?

They usually post a map of where things will be the week of DLD.

I haven't seen any official announcement yet but I was inquiring about GA tickets for a friend, via e-mailing the [email protected] link posted on the official site, and I was just informed that they will not be selling general admission tickets this year. Only group tickets. Hope that gets verified. 2 outta 3 ain't bad!

Thanks. Should've specified that I haven't seen anything posted on this thread about no GA tickets. Haven't been following it on Twitter.

Last year my wife went for the hot sauce line when we got in and I went for the taps. Scored Hill Farmstead right off the bat with no lines whatsoever...I'll avoid the coffee and merchandise line this year.

when you guys are talking about glassware, im see conflicting messages. It sounds like it isn't worth any effort to stand in a long line for merchandise. I've never gone before, but what should one usually expect to find at the merch table that is specific to the day.

Could be anything. Goblet, snifter with dark lord day or three floyds printed on it. They looked pretty cool last year, but I personally am not going to wait in line for glassware. Others will wait and if its anything like last year, it could take an hour before you get to the front and find out its sold out

Prior to last year the glassware line has been a complete shitshow. The glassware is only sold at the Dark Matter booth. There are other merch booths that sell shirts and other things you might expect to find. Those lines aren't that bad to deal with usually. Last years glassware line was very long for most of the day, but they never sold out that day. In 2014 the glassware sold out in about 30 minutes. DM ordered a shit ton more for last year. DM has sold mini snifters and coffee mugs each of the last two years. last year they added a large goblet as well.

What one should expect? No matter what is for sale, the usual suspects will cut their way to the front of the line and turn around and throw whatever they get on eBay, Craigslist, Facebook, etc. in an attempt to make money off of it.

I went straight to the Merchandise line when I got in, it took 2 hours to get to the front. The fun of DLD is the line, we bottle shared with everyone around us, met some cool people and drank some great beers. This year I think I'll avoid the merchandise line until later on. I was group C and after I got my bottles there was no wait for Merch.

I love how people complain about lines, uhhmmm you are standing with your friends drinking beer.......or you could not wait in line and stand around and drink with your friends..... the option is yours.

Gotta pay for that beer somehow.

Almost not being sarcastic here. I have no doubt that a good number of beer nerds fund themselves this way.

how does everyone bottle share while in the festival? This is baffling me? I thought they would check all your bags at the door, why would they let you bring outside beer in?
