Anyone know if the Residence Inn in Hammond offers shuttle service to the festival?

Here's a suggestion I haven't come across before. Each year I meet some really cool people yet can never remember their names, BA handles, etc. So this year I am bringing some business cards. Do the same! Easy to exchange and you may make some new trading partners, local friends, Untapped buddies, etc.

    What do you all think?

I think Brew Bus goes out of Capones on the northside. What time you looking to leave for FFF? Deciding if we will do a bus or Uber. If the latter, I will be looking for a couple of guys to share cost with my son and me. But we plan on leaving around 11:00 or so since we are in Group D and staying until around 8:00. What I like about the Uber option is it gives me some flexibility if the weather is crap.

I've never done an endless bottle share like this.. do people normally pop everything open before it can get warm? I know there aren't coolers allowed so what do people do to keep beer at the right temp other than start drinking them when they get there?

Are the bottle shares more popular early in the day than late?

They allow coolers. Just not the big ass ones that you have to drag around or take 4 people to carry when full.

Pros bring their bottles in a backpack cooler.

I always just use a normal backpack with some heavy duty ice packs I get from work. I've never had a problem with keeping my beer cool that way.

You can also just get a few ice packs and put those in your back pack.

I just looked at an Uber estimate, which was $50-66 from the Loop, which isn't too bad. Probably higher actual cost due to the peak though. Cab would be around $80, but this is probably for one person.

That's what we did going to FFF as when we got to Reggie's there were issues with the buses. From there I think it was $15 each and we had 4 in the car.

I'm now living in Denver and will be flying in Friday. If @Schmittymack can't bring you any BM and we can work something out.

If you take a cab from the loop they charge you an additional half of the meter rate since they can't pick up riders in Indiana.

All of the Marriotts are next to each other and every year I've gone there is a shuttle for the 3 of them.

Anyone recall how the guest breweries will be announced or is it the day-of kinda scenario?

Instead of ice packs, freeze some bottles of water the night before and use those to keep your beer cold. Great way to keep you hydrated and to rinse out your glass between beers.

I haven't been, but I'm pretty sure I asked this earlier and was told you just find out when you get there. It sounds like there are usually some awesome breweries, so I'm sure we'll be in for a treat.

Why would you think FFF cares what variants are left? Whoever makes it has already bought and paid for whatever they get.

This discussion about the variants is giving me a headache....
