Well, yeah, they're not going to just GIVE you "Baller Stout XX." That's gonna be another $200.

Don't bring glass. My guess is they'll allow it, but it's just generally speaking a real bad idea.

They won't say a word if you bring plastic cups though, as was mentioned above.

As far as who you share with: whomever you want. If the folks around you are crackin some cool stuff, crack some cool stuff with them. It's all about meeting new people and having fun. Obviously save some for your friends too. Inside the event, there will be tents with tables (well, historically there have been) where bottle sharing is encouraged as well. Find a table and crack some beers!

I've brought glass tasters before and they have survived the day, just depends how drunk you get.

I made a few of these from some glasses I really don't use anymore and they have survived 4 DLDs

Somehow I brought two plastic cups last year and they both shattered. I highly recommend bringing extras.

My buddy ended up cutting a plastic water bottle in half and drinking out of that... after we cheers'ed a bit too vigorously and my heavier glass dominated his smaller weaker glass... LOL!

I have a little mini mason jar with a handle. I clip that to a lanyard. Makes for hands free glassware that you won't lose. You can find those mini mason jars at target as i believe they are just mini salt and pepper shakers. They are like a 3-4oz glass. Works very well for the day. I've used it the last 3 years and it's been awesome.

Ive been also told by an employee of another brewery who uses 22oz bottles that you get roughly 15 cases per barrel. Which would be 180 22oz bottles, roughly the same yield. I don't work in the industry so I don't really have a better explanation as to what causes the loss, but the math seems to reflect that.

It you're not drinking out of the FFF chalice sold last year, you're doing DLD wrong.

I'm not sure the goblet could be broken if you dropped it.

I still have my goblet from last year which I've never actually used. I figure I'll use it to hold bottle caps or corks or something like that, but I've never gotten around to doing anything with it!
