This picture is cool. I hope afterward you threw this bottle of soy sauce into the fire.

I’ve done the same at Alpine Valley. Similar results!

Nice! I also will randomly bring a dark lord on vacation to share with some random folks at the local craft beer bar or with new friends. It's always a blast to see the reactions you get from people to a beer they've maybe heard stories about but never seen, and then here it is sitting in front of them.

@croush busted out a xBBA xDVR last night, and it was very interesting. I tend to think of taste in musical tones, and this was all alto & soprano, sweet butter and caramel notes playing at the top of the register, with virtually no coffee or malt roastiness. Nose was quite complex. That said, we all agreed it could use a lot of more coffee, or something to anchor and balance the sweetness.

fortunately, my spirit animal is @PhilBallins, and I could hear a satanic chant of “cuvee! Cuuuuuveeeee!” somewhere in the distance, so I bravely brandished a Coffee Shop Vibes, with its polar opposite tasting notes (super coffee, super thick, super roasty, touch of sweetness), enlisted an intrepid chemist, and did my best Dr. Frankenstein.

I would cautiously and humbly suggest that the dark monstrosity was greater than the sum of its parts.

So, gents, the next time you rummage in your fridge, go ahead and crack those two bottles, give them a swirl, yell something along the lines of “it’s a meritage, *****s!” and let me know what you think.

You've made this old cuv hound so happy. But what's the deal man, you're not calling on the whole crew? I have so many bottles to share!
