He demands sacrifice! Enough bottle shares have not been spilled this day. Let us pray by doming our finest vintage flights of DL and banging our heads against the nearest toilet. If enough of us perform valiantly, we may all wake tomorrow pantsless and face down in our gravel driveways. We'll have 3 days of pain and regret where we shall swear off alcohol forever...or at least until next weekend...but we might just pull it off and be spared.

 

I hate Instagram notifications, but I guess I have to add 3 Floyds to the list.

 

Update: power restored about 9:30 in a torrential downpour/thunderstorm. Now my street is flooded. I'm drinking a Fundamental Observation in my garage. It's a bottle share of one.

They probably got sick of a bunch of beer nerds hangin around the parking lot waiting for them to release vintage bottles.

 

Tho funny, I would guess it would be all of the obnoxious questions they were getting asked.
I do vote for a mystery variant for $50. No whining or crying. Just take it, and walk away.

“Tallying up the vintage variants + Dark Lord bottles that we’ll have available next month. Online sale info and pickup details coming soon.”

 

This could be a practice run of what Dark Lord’s 2020 release looks like without a festival. When buying, perhaps you are also agreeing to a day/time for pickup. Of course, the bottle count for this vintage release makes a difference as well.

 

I am very interested to see how 3Floyds does this. What 'ticketing' service, if any, will be part of this? Is it going to be first come-first serve and pick your variant, style of release? Is it going to be random lottery and then a random variant? Somewhere between the two? Will we still need to purchase reg. 4 bottles of Kikomann still ? And what's the price??

I suppose all in time. It will be interesting to see how much 3Floyds actually charges just for the bottles, without the festival. Last time 3Floyds sold bottles separately was in 2015. Variant (if you had a winning scratch of ticket) cost $50, and the regulars were $20 each.

 

They will put these in their web store. It will be a shit show.
