Dark Lord Day (DLD) 2015

Touche'. 3F is actually a very underrated brewery. I'd choose 3F over 3F any day.

 

I just got my DLD stein from Dark Matter- does anybody else think the screen printing on these is really messed up? The goblet looks great but the stein is a muddy, unreadable mess.

 

Same on mine. You can barely read it.

 

I got mine too, completely smashed to pieces. Great packing Dark Matter

 

Mine are the same, completely unreadable. Really disappointed.

 

Same here on the stein. Also, the logos on the purple tasters look terrible, like there are random bits of scotch tape around the decals. If you scratch it off, it takes the decal with it.

I had ordered the silver ones a week before, and those look just fine.

 

My snifters were packed great. No breakage. Got the purple and they look perfect. Dark matter customer service is great from few emails I sent. Take pics and send that in the email. They should make things right. Also that dark blood coffee is delicious!

 

My Growler of ZD aged Heady Topper was gone in seconds.

 

Anyone remember what HF pale ale was on tap in the afternoon? I had it and can't remember the name.

 

I know Edward was on. Not sure what else.

 

HF Single Hop Citra was on for quite a while. Not sure how long into the afternoon it lasted.

I got my stein yesterday and the printing sucks. May as well be a solid gold block.

 

Stein was definitely most disappointing. I use it at work for coffee mug.

The glasses though, especially the goblet, are nice.

 

It was meant as a coffee mug so...good work?

 

Someone posted a complaint about the glassware quality on the DMC FB and they replied with the following:

you would like to exchange or get a refund? No problem! email orders (2) darkmattercoffee dot com

I'd recommend people having glassware issues email them accordingly.

so just curious, i have a friend who is looking for the aquavit varient and i was somewhat interested in the new earl of biggleswade. but i havent seen many people say they got these or are trading them. are they bad or just not many people got them so thats what is going to be on sale at the brewpub the day before DLD next year?

 

Yea, but I really wanted it to be more of a decorative/collector thing... Coffee work mug is the biggest demotion i could've given it.

 

I liked Aquavit! Bargleswade is historically known for being terrible, but I can't confirm that. Good luck on your search
