Also, if I remember correctly, last year, at least around mid day, there was no ZD to be had. Plus, they will have way better beers than ZD on that day to be had.

This will be my first year going. I don't have a stock of sought after beer, but don't want to show up empty handed for all the sharing I've been hearing about. Any suggestions on what I could pick up to bring?

I got on the Etix page around 11:30 in case the darklordday website crashed (it did) from 12:00-12:08 I noticed nothing happening on my screen besides the original "tickets will go on sale at 12:00" message. I refreshed once and immediately was able to secure 2 group A tickets. I even messed up on the text cache but still was able to proceed without losing the tickets once i typed it in correctly. Last year tickets were a lot harder to get from what I am noticing. Either way, I am pumped for my 3rd trip to DLD!

 

There's a chance I may have one extra group C ticket. Should know in a day or so if I do for sure. If needed shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

 

This is also my third year. I had comp and laptop going. Saved website for tix on both devises last night.

With this being my first time, what would you recommend trying to grab? Is there a list anywhere of what they will have? Any sort of rankings, etc? I am not a beer freak so I can't name them all off I just loved Zombie Dust, Alpha King, Gumbal head etc. never had anything else, I just want to make the whole thing worth while haul wise, advice?

 

That's a recipe for a DWI isn't it? I would think there are sobriety checkpoints for drivers between it and Chicago?
