    Nice.

Does Three Floyds post a guest draft list ahead of time or is it a surprise?

They used to, but haven't the last couple years. Just know it will be good stuff, and if you miss out on something good, something else amazing will be tapped soon after.

First year in 8 years I am not going/didn't try for a ticket to DLD. Feels strangely liberating. Cheers and good luck to all those going, but damn if this event has gotten more difficult to enjoy over the years.

No formal list. FFF is notorious for not posting any details about draft list and what beers are available for purchase in bottles.

Some draft highlights from what I can remember:
*Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Bean Dark Lord (missed getting a pour by 3 people, this beer still eludes me)
    *Brandy Barrel Dark Lord
*Dark Lord (various vintages, I had '11 and I think even '10 and '09 were on tap at one point)
*Toppling Goliath King Sue (highlight of the day for me, holy shit that beer is awesome)
    *BB Plead the 5th
    *Bruery Black Tuesday
    *Bruery White Chocolate
    *Founders KBS
    *Hill Farmstead Society & Solitude
    *Cigar City Lactobacillus Guava Grove

I'm sure there were plenty more that I missed. They put kegs on at random places at random times so you don't know when the best stuff is getting tapped.

I forgot about White Chocolate, had that as well. That stuff is dangerous.

Damn. That is a fantastic looking list.

I'm pretty excited for this. It's taken me more than 10 years to be able to go so hopefully I haven't built it up too much in my head.

Why is there a difference in price between GA and regular tickets? It's not like the extra money goes towards beer - you still have to pay for it. It seems odd that they charge $10 more just for the right to buy beer when they're also charging for the beer.

Maybe because people were so pissed about the same price for general admission last year. Who knows. All the $ that isn't used to organize the event goes to charity so it's not a huge deal to me.

I think it's also worth adding to put on sun screen no matter what the temperature is. Two years ago the temps were mild and it didn't seem like the sun was doing much. But it kicked my ass and I was burnt for several days.

It's not a big deal to me either. It's just strange.

This is very true. It was freezing last year and my fiance managed to get both wind and sun burnt. Definitely prepare for any and all weather conditions.

Man, I must have been standing right behind you. I remember everyone cheering because VBDL had just been tapped and there were only 4 people in front of me. I never took a step forward in line and I heard everyone groan as the keg was kicked. I did manage to score KBS and Hunah on tap, as well as Rue D'Floyd.

Been going since before it was a "Day" (eleven years). Quite different now but still fun. See you all there.

I didn't. That affected nothing. You were given 10 minutes to input your info ;-)

They also tapped Rum BA Zhukov and DB Huna. Like you, I'm sure there's plenty more I missed out on.

This will be my first time going as I luckily scored group a tickets. I am booked in a hotel ten minutes away by car. Does it make sense to drive there and grab our shares then take them back to the hotel and then cab it back to enjoy the rest of the day?
