This is the one I was talking about, that really kills me; at least Dark Lord is available every year, and you can get it easily. But Rare?

I thought it was funny. Pretty sure they meant to show how crazy some people can get about rare beers when really it's just meant to be drunk. People tend to go crazy over rare beer. There was a binny's that tweeted about customers berating employees for running out of a limited beer recently. This video is the opposite of those types of beer chasers.

I love these videos. It pokes fun at the silly rare beer chasers. Similar enough were the people who would buy a brand new video game console and smash it in front of people who waited for hours overnight in line.

Yeah, I remember the BA Abduction tweet. Pitiful.

Fair enough, I just don't like seeing rare (no pun intended) things going to waste. I get the amusement value, though. The console thing is funnier to me because there's no finite amount of them (except within launch period), and the look on the fanboys'/girls' faces is priceless.

I always say to each their own but come on poking fun or not what a waste of beer. Im also not the best at beer reviews but I do not put out youtube videos reviewing beers and such but what a half ass review as well, I mean I can read the label for that review.

With Just Keep Tastin' and The Metal Madman videos, I really wish they would post the aftermath.

I know! My first thought is always, "man, I'd like to see these guys in 45 minutes. Hell, in 20."

yeah I'd be happier if they actually enjoyed the beer but I get the joke and do find it funny even though I'll never get to taste some of those beers...

This was at DLD prior to the Golden Tickets, in fact the last year prior to making it a ticketed event, where I was in line behind a couple of 20somethings (NTTAWWTOC) with a 12 pack of Bud Light each.

Later saw them later drinking DL like it was a 12 oz can of Bud Light....chugging...for all the wrong reasons.

That was the year with the female wrestling in the pond at the building next door, amongst other drunken debauchery. I was seriously concerned for the event after that, but over time Floyds has really done a nice job of making changes for the better.

Anyone have a list of some of the guest taps from last year? We had to cut out early, but there until group E sales this year so just curious what was there last year.

FFF had 2 tents set up and they tapped a bunch of cool beers throughout the day that you hardly ever see. They also tap just about every BADL variation they have ever made throughout the day, along with older regular Dark Lords as well. You never know when they will tap and the lines are long, so you just have to be lucky enough to be near the front when it taps.

As for guest taps, they tent line is huge and the taps are constantly rotating. There is no taplist given out and no timed tappings that I recall so it was just luck of the draw. There is also no guarantee that it will be the same setup this year as it generally changes in some way year to year.

I took a few pics of tap lists, here is what I saw:

Ironwood - Third Eye BBL Aged Sour
    Founders - KBS
Local Option - BA Kentucky Common
Boneyard - Hop Venom Double IPA
Mikkeller - BA Santas Little Helper
The Answer - Mango Tango Sour Spicy Saison *** Holy shit this was amazing, went back for 4 or 5 pours
Against the Grain - Hamon Hamarth imperial smoked porter
    Devil's Trumpet - something....
    Toppling goliath - King Sue
    Praecocia - Bourbon old ale
    The Bruery - Black Tuesday
    Floyd D'Rue
Sun King - Hop Up Offa That Brett
    Victory - White Monkey
    Vandermill - Blue Gold
    FFF - Blakkr
    Robert the Bruce
    Boom over Pow
    War Mullet
    Yum Yum
    Rabbid Rabbit
    * Those are just from the side tents, the main tent had 10+ FFF beers tapped at all times
Plus the crazy list of BA beers they tapped

Moderately disappointed that tickets and bottle prices jumped. Perhaps that's why tickets were easier to get. IMHO, FFF should go the route of Darkness Day and barrel age the whole batch. That would make me forget the extra cost. Or how about one variant for all tickets holders. End rant/

What constitutes packaged beer sales? No leaving the premises with bottles?

Correct. Sans DLD/DLD Variants nothing seems to be off premise sales
