I am surprised a hotel roll call/ Fri. bottle share thread hasn't been posted. Lots of inquiring around here..

 

On site tickets go on sale at kiosk in 30 mins, this is not a drill people!

6am with 45 mins notice on a Tuesday is a damn good way to ensure they go to locals. Well played three Floyds.

I also love how it's Group A tickets and not E.

 

Tuesday 4.7.2015 6 a.m Central Time, limited amount of Dark Lord Day 2015 Group A tickets for sale at the brewery. Must be 21+ at date of purchase. One ticket per person. Valid picture ID required which includes passport, driver’s license, state ID card or U.S. military card. Ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable. Cash only. ATMs will NOT be available on-site. Line will begin forming at 5:45 a.m. Please do not park in the lot or enter the property until 5:45 a.m. If you purchased tickets online, do NOT buy tickets on-site. Your purchase will be invalidated.
Kiosk will be selling packaged goods at 7 a.m. Central Time, including Rabbid Rabbit, and merchandise. Kiosk accepts cash and credit cards.

 

I'm pretty sure that the IP tickets at the Brewpub have been Group A for at least the last 3 years.

 

They will be requiring tickets, I can almost guarantee that. It's a small place and they'll literally be overrun if they don't sell tickets....

 

I agree. They are asking for a 2013 huna day type disaster if they don't.

From Drew at the recent LOE event. Ticket price was subject to change. That's all the info I have. He said they're figuring things out. This is all I know.

 

So what are some of the "higher end" liquor stores in the area around 3 Floyds?

I'd like to pick up a bottle of Corsair Distillery's whiskey but so far the two places I've called (Nick's and The Liquor Bucket) don't have it.

Since I've seen it pop up a few times, I threw together a quick Google spreadsheet for the Friday Night Bottle Shares. If it provides value I can create a new thread for this as well. Please add your hotel (preferably with map which will help determine where the bottle share occurs in the hotel clusters) and some beers you're planning on bringing.

Thanks. I called one WiseGuys and the woman said she'd never heard of it (big surprise) and then called another and he said he had it, but not any of the hopped varieties.

Looks like the Wise Guys Super Store will be worth a stop off. Cheers!

 

What time would the Best Western bottle share start?

 

I'll probably check in around 8pm but might check out one of the other breweries around. I'm not sure how these things get organized. I would talk to the front desk first to see where they'd be ok having a bunch of noisy beer geeks then have a sign put up in that area.

 

Uhh one year I did that cant remember the year but I was tired not passed out and took a break mid day to help pace myself lol
