Dark Lord Day questions

    Need some info, please. How do the time-based tickets work with general admission to the event? If I am able to get tickets for a specific time (say, 2-4pm), do we need to show up early just to get into the event, or will we be guaranteed our beer if we show up a little before our time slot?

    FYI, I ask because I am trying to talk my wife into attending with me and another couple, but I don't think she's willing to spend the whole day. With named tickets, I don't really want to drop $30 on her ticket and then lose it.

    You can show up at any time of the day and enter the grounds. At your time slot, you can buy your beers. You can even buy after the time slot, just not before.

    So, what's the benefit of showing up way early? Is it such a great time that it is worth 5am?

    Lots of bottles being shared, bands playing, good beers being tapped in the pub, and raffles.

    I showed up at like 8:30 last year and had a fantastic time. The line is just for hanging out and sharing beers

    I prefer to get there early enough to get a front seat to THE BEER WORLDS GREATEST SHIT SHOW ON EARTH...... beside we place bets as to how long before the amatures hit the ground..... step right up and place your bets ladies and gentleman .....will it be the rockstar drinking 12%+ beers at 530 am or the little guy chugging the sludge in the bottom of the whale bottles lined up along the curb :slight_smile:

    I hope everyone enjoys the show, and we can get tickets too :slight_smile:

    You could definitely show up "just to get the beer", but you should probably warn the wife that you might have to wait in line for a bit.... and that you might be tempted to drink some beer.... and that you might run into so many awesome BAs pretty freely pouring beers you never thought you'd see that you drink a lot... and you might get in there and win a BA DL (or two), grab a case of Zombie Dust and a FFF shirt, a BA moloko, 8 DLs and drop half a mortgage payment in about 11 minutes.

    It will be awesome, though, so maybe you should just keep all of that stuff to yourself, easier to ask forgiveness than permission :wink:

    But if you act Now in the next ten minutes I will throw in Kbs as a bonus 3 x the fun all in 2 months..... but only if you act Now because we can make a deal like this last all day it will just go nuts the phones are already ringing off the hook..... but I will have to ration you on CRACK PRETZELS ...... don't want you Jones n come May.... :wink:
