I have always wanted to try the varents of Dark Lord, but i have never had the oppertunity. Last saturday, me and a few buddies went to the Voodoo Barrel Room Release, and got all but 1(apple brandy BM) of the varients. Is there any chance that one (or a few) of these could aquire a Dark Lord varient for us?
bottle counts are roughly similar but the DL variants were $50 each vs the $10-20 for the Voodoo variants. just something to keep in mind. was at the Voodoo release as well and a brandy vanilla DL was opened once we moved from the tent to the sidewalk line...
Regular Brandy I believe. Regardless, it was delicious, and thanks normyk for the share! And given the value of DL variants I wouldn't be surprised at all for it to take a bottle of each of the Voodoo variants to land one. However, I'd just rather keep the voodoo beers, they are on target!
Honestly, I wouldn't do multiples of each for a BA Dark Lord. The brewery itself isn't sexy IMO. Also, it is variants.
you drank regular brandy dl recently? i was contemplating trading mine away but it sounds so delicious was hoping to hear it was
The one I sampled late 2012 tasted like black licorice and old DL. Sorry, I mean strong "dark fruits" and old DL.
