Wanted to get some advice on the best way to handle this. I have a 10-14 dark lord vertical I have been working on and last night I got to try a 12 & 14 for the first time. While they were good it just wansnt for me.

Do you think I will have better luck trading them 1 at a time or as a set? If I trade them as a set what sort of bottles do you think I could get?

Wanted to try and get some feedback before I posted to ISO

    Thanks

I don't think the set has any more value vs. the individual bottles.

so I would just figure what 1x DL trades for, then multiply by 5

ok multiple by 6 or 7 since vintage bottles trade for a bit more.

I agree with HighLowJack, the only Dark Lords that seem to trade for high value are 2006 and earlier

I don't completely agree with that. Lots of people love to do vertical tastings so there is some additional value to having a continuous vertical like that. I would recomment seeing if you can trade it for a vertical of something else like Darkness, Huna, etc.

people like to do vertical tastings, but these same people are the type who tend to collect verticals and have bottles like this. and if they need something, it's 1 or 2 bottles from that vert but not the entire thing.

said another way, how many people do you think there are that really want to do a DL vertical that includes 2010-2014 and have NONE of those bottles already? I am sure, though, that there are people who would want a 2011 to fill in a gap, etc
