Outside of their website/address, I've never seen it anywhere, especially in regards to an actual abbreviation.

lol, I heard that, so much...however, back to @HouseofWortship :

FFF is what FFF uses for FFF. They have saved us all the trouble of deciding how their brewery should be abbreviated, by showing us how they want it abbreviated.

Just a guess, but this is most likely derived from the fact that they have respect for Drie, a brewery that is over a century old, unlike certain other 'mericans who have more respect for their freedom fries and confederate flag branded pickups

Perhaps, but people in Chicagoland drink Three Floyds, not that other crap. (see me rustling feathers on both geography and brewery levels there)

 

I'm stll thinking since earl was your first choice, maybe we adapt it to Cardamon King?

Yeah, but who gives a shit? We're in a DLD thread and we all know when someone says 3F what they mean.

3F puts on a hell of a fest even though I'm not crazy about the main 3F beer they sell at their fest. I enjoy other 3F beers, though, and enjoy the people and bottle shares, so I still go to the 3F fest.

BTW, I'm so glad we've come to this level in the thread...it was a curveball I didn't see coming.

 

This might have been asked before but In prior years what time do they announce IP ticket sales at the brewpub? And how long until they were sold out?

If ya'll fellers wanna shit all over the very meticulously crafted abbreviation of "FFF" to differentiate Three Floyds, (which shall also be known as 3 Floyds), from "3F," well that is your lofty and noble prerogative. But, just a small reminder, us internet dweebs who use FFF aren't the ones that coined this abbreviation for FFF.

And, who gives a shit? Well, I usually measure the most shit given by who gets the most passionate and vigorously defensive about it
