I would love to get a Handjee but honestly I'll take anything on the variant list. Just hoping I get in line before only vintages are left.

Anyone think there will be designated group pick up spots so people from other groups can get onto another groups pile?

Also from what I experienced last year, I was in B and a few late A groupers went to the front of the line. I don't think that I would let them pass me this year.

 

Sadly, the taps are gonna be letdowns again since they won't kick if everyone will be waiting in the variant line.

 

I think people are over thinking this. My thought is they have each groups allotment separated on pallets. If a group A attendee ends up at the front of the B line he'll get shuffled over to the group A allotment area and draw from there. Just my two cents.

I don't know, maybe the first 250 people in groups C-E would line up immediately upon entering. Or whatever the Handjee count for each group might be.

Yep! That's the easiest way to avoid a shit show. I know I know it's DLD so a shit show is guaranteed.

 

Honestly I'm glad I got A now because I can just grab my beer and not worry about it. Run through those guest taps like Jeff Gordon!

 

We're all probably over thinking it. The ratio of people that post here to drunk uncles that attend their neighborhood brewery's festival is probably even. Not everyone is going to be savvy enough to hatch some nefarious line scheme. I'm sure a few of the secondary usual suspects will find ways to game the system but for the most part it shouldn't impact your average attendee.

 

Remember, the last few don't get variants, they get vintage regular DL. Who will risk that by going to check out taps or food...

 

Oh God, I hope I get 2x 2016 variants. The only thing better would be some Bubba Guppy.

 

I'm at least glad for separate lines for each group. Last year with all the groups going through the same line, it was tough. Imagine all the B's lining up as soon as the gates open and the A's having to push past them in the serpentine line... that would have broken out into fights.

The reason they were a letdown last year was because nobody drank them and they never kicked. It'll be so much worse this year with everyone in the variant line.

 

Anyone in group A that wanted a Handjee is the real loser here. That line will start on Friday.
