I would guess you'll still be fine, but I would say f you bring one, be ok with being told it can't come in

 

Pretty sure that's part of the law FFF babysat to make the bottle share legal.

I think you're spot on with that assessment. Maybe an empty growler can be legally considered as an open bottle of alcohol. You're not allowed to bring in or leave with an open bottle of alcohol.

 

I missed Huna by about two people. They replaced it with barrel aged Moloko with chili peppers

 

Legalese:
Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, the holder of the temporary beer permit may allow an individual who attends the festival or event to carry beer, in a quantity that does not exceed a total of two hundred eighty-eight (288) ounces, into the permitted area. Beer carried in to a festival or event under this subsection may be consumed or traded only in the permitted area.
An individual who attends the festival or event may carry out beer in sealed, unopened containers from the temporary beer permit area.

Growlers/flip tops would violate the second portion.

 

I remember grabbing that BA Moloko and then mixing it with Prop '15. I think I was trying to make Prop '16? Couldn't tell you because of the high level of drunkenness I was experiencing.

Did I miss something or am I just a dufus? I thought the entrance was only going to be on the North this time, but that looks like the South side.

 

I think you must just be mistaken. Prior to the release of the map I was certain it was the south side that was open and north was closed (because of construction at the hospital or something).

I don't think you'll be able to purchase beer until 7 am unless they have some sort of special permit. State law prohibits the sale of alcohol from 3-7 am daily.

 

That's been the case in the past.

 

Site actually says draft beer sales 9AM.
