Darklord Day 2017

It was great meeting up with you guys!! kinda sad i didn't take any pictures with the crew. I think we can safely say this is the most successful DLD yet and the most successful arranged meeting of strangers that has ever happened at DLD

 

Glad to see such an overwhelmingly positive response this year. My friends and I all had a blast. Can't wait to do it again next year.

After getting next to nothing on tap last year, I spent quite a bit of time looking at the taps this year and saw some pretty decent stuff hit.

The lines were so long for them, folks in my group asked people for a small pour from their cup. People seemed more than happy to share. Very cool of them.

 

Was a great time! Was nice meeting you, the bros and the pops!

Had an amazing time yesterday. Still nursing a hangover, but glad to have met so many cool people and tried so many awesome beers. We came away with a Handjee and Muerte in group D.

I told myself I was gonna hit the taps this year and ended up not going once. I'll probably cut back on what I bring next year and try to roam, but the knoll was a great spot and didn't end up moving much!

 

Yeah. That guy was a douche. I was pouring my whales to everyone that was nearby...for nothing in return. Here...have some double barrel Mexican Cake...

 

Most bad ass thing I saw was a girl exit the line, open her fvm, and start pounding it straight from the bottle.

Anyone else try it yet? How does it compare with the new barrels used?

 

I had a guy I never our group open his and spread it around. It was damn tasty! I cannot speak for it compared to last years as I did not have that one.

 

That's great. My wife was doming a Wicked Weed Sour from the bottle.
I've heard the FVM is better this year.

 

Had a great time and met some cool people!! Found 15 BA DL, ronaldo and muerte on tap. Highlights of beer i got to try were Assassin 14 & 16, Prop 13 & 14, GI Rare 10.

I was Group E and got a chemtrail. My guest got too wasted and didn't pick up his allotment Anyone ever hear of this happening? Doubt floyds would allow me to pick it up (still have the ticket stub attached to ticket) but will give it a shot.

Can't wait for next year!

I got to try Chemtrail on tap. This one really surprised me. Fantastic fudgy, cinnamon bomb. One of the better variants ice had.

 

That Chemtrail was tasty!!! So tasty I bought one off a guy that was upset about getting it as his variant.

 

Come on! Where are the pix of all the overserved people?

 

Hey Coel - I was sharing beers with you guys at the Comfort Suites - we were the people from MI.

 

Better this year!? I'm glad I found one in my bag! Last year it was amazing!

 

The guy in the white shirt was pretty well over served, at least his head felt like it most of the day today.

 

Hilarious how many people are looking for ChemTrailMix in ISO:FT forums right now. I read quite a few people bitching they got it or pre DLD how they had no interest in it. Just goes to show once people get their head out of Handjee's ass they should stop pre-judging beers before the public has had them.
