You'll definitely have plenty of parking available if you get there by 5, even close to the festival. Just be cautious if you plan on dropping off your bottles after pick-up. Thiefs will look inside the car for visible DL bottles so make sure they are covered up nicely.

As far as bottle sharing, you will have plenty of vets in your line that will likely share equally tasty beers. Just make sure to keep some Voodoo for when you make it inside and share those with me.

 

My advice would be don't drive without a DD.

But if you get there at 5, you'll be able to find parking.

 

@malichi Thanks for the info on the bottle share. I thought I had seen that somewhere at some point.

@eifster82 You got it on the Voodoo. Also going to bring some Brew Gentlemen growlers for the night before/AM line, as I think they hold up against the Hill Farmstead/Tired Hands/Trilliums of the world.

 

First time and got E tickets. Coming up from FL (have family in Munster). Do you just bring bottles and share when you get there or set up trades ahead of time?

 

I believe one of the things not allowed are growlers with flip tops/caps as part of the bill to allow the bottle share to happen (legally).

 

I am working out of town and tried for tickets on 2 devices and got the white screen of death on both. Then to my surprise, my wife called me and she was able to buy me a pair of tickets for group A. Best wife ever.

I can't wait to see everyone there!

 

I think you're right. I was thinking of the share before we go in. If we have any extra then they'll be sacrificed to the gods. Unless the "no growler" applies to outside too.

Group E, happy to go to the world's greatest bottle share again. Pretty sure it is going to be 2 vintage DLs for me instead of a variant.

 

I was waiting for like 20 minutes before I stopped trying with Chrome and switched to trying IE - stupid Captcha didn't work with Chrome. Ended up scoring 2 group Ds this year, I might end up driving there and back in the same day so I don't miss Mother's day...

 

Yessir. Same cadre of 4elfers making the trip. Should be a blast.

Not like anyone cares, but got group B here (aka the best group).

Also, tip for those who haven't gone before: Don't bring Bourbon to DLD. Trust me.

managed to have a friend snag a B ticket for me and had two friends land A tickets

very much looking forward to join the walking dead in just a few months. good lord pray for decent weather. not even good...just decent will do.

 

was able to get tickets. E, but what the hell. Will have the compound up and running for the 9th year.
