Nope, its just as random as the 9 digit one. What did they look like in prior years?
I want to make a joke about "IT's NOT NORMAL", but it totally is.
Now I want my tickets, last year they were in my brother's name.
For some reason a buddy and I were thinking it was like a 4 digit number (groups b and c every time) and the number was the actual ticket number produced. Like he had 4320 and I had 4321.
Is it possible that at least 1/3 of the population of the US are attending DLD this year? That would explain why there are 9-digit ticket numbers...
No ticket yet here either... damn.
(Paging @kodt to start grabbing the pictures of tickets and lanyards as they arrive for the wiki...)
The only thing not normal about FFF is hoppy stouts, porters, and barleywines. And BA Alpha Klaus is definitely not normal or maybe by not normal I mean not good.
Was on the back, if I remember correctly. A much smaller number that gave an indication of how many tickets were sold.
I'm at work now, and so don't have the ticket in front of me, but there could have been something on the back. I'll take another look tonight when I get home.
Not on the ticket itself unless it was on the part that they pulled
You may be thinking of the scratch off from previous years
I have a Priority Mail package arriving today or tomorrow from FL. Assuming it's my tickets.
2016 ticket showing number thanks to the history site. looks like it is on the tear off section.
also looked it up and inperson sales were april 11 last year, a monday.
What's the lanyard look like?
Here are some Group D tickets from some guy on Facebook
I'll go ahead and say it....... Last year's tickets looked better.
They tasted better too,
Plain black cloth. Nothing fancy.
Damn did I miss the barrel aged lanyards last year??
Anyone else hoping for a barrel aged wigsplitter release the day before?
There ya go! The number is on the back corner of the tab they snap off.
Mine still hasn't even shipped.
it probably has, you just didnt get an email.
*Inserting obligatory WHERE'S MY TICKETS?! here*
So far everyone I know that has already received their tickets didn't receive an e-mail. Last year my friend received the e-mail after he received the tickets lol.
I would think the brewery tickets should be coming up soon here...
So far we've seen B and D. Interested in seeing the other group's tickets.
^^This guy with the jokes.
I'd take a bourbon wigsplitter over a vintage DL any day of the week.
Totally agree. Been waiting a while for them to pull it off.
That's a cool one. What's the number on the back of the stub in the bottom corner?
"His name is Andrew Carlson."
Here is a group E
6489 and 6490. Interesting - are tickets numbered consecutively?
Dude, no way, that's exactly how I read that when i first saw the ticket!
His name is Robert Paulson.
I don't think so. I see some Group B's in the 6000's and some Group E's in the 5000's.
I thought there was a samurai theme based on the DLD web-site, but those ticket motifs look more like an 1800's zombie vs Westworld theme.
I bet Group A will have the Samurai artwork. Seems each group represents a different region, but 1800's era fits.
We've seen the Cyborg Russian soldier, Old West Zombie Lady, General Custer, and Annie Oakley so far.
There were Cyborgs in the 1800's?
