You aren't concerned about the zombies in the 1800's?
Zombies would make more sense in the 1800's than cyborgs.
I just hope passing on those group C tickets I had locked down online in an attempt to get group A tickets locally wasn't a huge mistake. Admittedly getting a little antsy over local ticket sales and the event date creeping up ...
I am thinking they will do local sales this monday. 2 weeks after the date last year (april 11)which would line up with them pushing dld back 2 weeks to may 13.
Just crotch the damn thing. If they ask about the bulge, tell 'em, "I have a condition."
Up to page 81! We are easily going to set a new record this year.
If you live reasonably close to there and/or can get there within a few hours of the announcement you should be fine.
But what if they just didn't do pub tickets this year because too many barrels got infected??
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
But we are talking about beer, not birds. A Handjee in hand is worth, 1/2 in the bush.
I'd rather have a Handjee in the bush.
I prefer my hanjee with no bush.
A bird with a Handjee is worth 414 birds with a Busch.*
$450 blackmarket resale for handjee
$12.99 for a 12 pack of Busch . ~34.5 12 packs for $450 = 414 12oz bottles
I live in Texas and got my ticket today. If you haven't received yours yet, it's probably safe to say that you won't ever get it
USPS Priority Mail or FedEx?
If etix said they are being shipped this week, seeing as I chose the cheapest option I'm expecting to get tickets next week. Doesn't mean I'm still not persistently checking my porch
I don't really remember picking between the two when I completed my order, but they arrived through USPS. All that was in the package was a Group D ticket and a plain black lanyard. Guess they finally ran out of 2015 lanyards to reuse?
What kind of a classy ass hole buys Busch in a bottle?
Got a little paranoid so I called eTix to verify that they have my correct mailing address. All good there. So, I just need to be patient (not one of my strong suits) and wait for my tickets to arrive.
I had to quit laughing so I could present you as today's winner of the internet. That was a good one!
They have your correct address, just not your tickets.
Courtesy of Al Gore, inventor of the Internet.
Seriously, we are over 3 weeks away from DLD. There's no need to start worrying about when your tix will arrive. If you haven't received them by the week of DLD, then you can start worrying.
You're kidding, right? People start worrying about tickets before they even go on sale. This is the annual DLD thread.
I literally called them right after I purchased the tickets, I filled out the form so fast I had no recollection of what I entered.
Then I remembered I decided to go through again and try to get tickets for a friend and the fields remembered all my entries, so unnecessary anxiety attack on my end lol.
Can Al Gore just ship me MANBEARPIG! Instead?
Man I wish it was only 450$. 2016 Handjee is selling for 650-700$ now =(
Don't go down that rabbit hole!
Yeti variants beat Manbearpig in a totally unexpected, disappointing upset, (personally).
$450? Try closer to $600.
My tickets were waiting for me when I got home. Group E.
I've never been one to sell my beer, ever. But it's hard to say as a Group A DLD attendee this year (along with my wife) that I would never part with one for that much money. This assuming Handjee is a variant again this year and we scored two. I mean, that would pay for our Dark Lord Day...everything.
Its the fucking Catalina Wine Mixer of beer fests!
It's been called the metal songbird of it's generation.
What kind of busch drinker buys it by the 12 pack? its cheaper in the 30pack...
Yup, Group A has the samurai artwork
