hahah yea getting to the point where its hard to cut through the sarcasm/bullshit
Haha, very well done. Should've changed the date though.
Obviously fake. That would mean that the DLD account actually tweeted something.
<-- Can validate Etick shortage
Pedialyte doe absolutely necessary. I used this method for a bender and it was as epic as described.
Truest thing I've read here in a while.
I just walk around the grounds with a 1000ml IV hooked to each arm. The Cadillac of hangover remedies.
I made it too fast.. whoops.
Solid effort nonetheless!
I didn't believe the 1st post, but that fake tweet almost gave me a heart attack.
This thread is flying today. You all must be just as bored at work as I am.
Hey guys, I take it all back, Group b tickets just arrived with two lanyards! 1936 and 1937!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
The tweet above does not exist. See https://twitter.com/3F_DarkLordDay.
And the number of chars in the tweet to match Twitter's 140 character limit.
No take backs.
I'm actually quite busy and this thread has greatly decreased my workplace productivity.
Just received eTix email with tracking info on tickets.
This thread has slowed my workplace productivity nearly as much as when Pokémon go came out. (Yes I know I'm a nerd)
Just got my tracking email from Etix. Must be printing in batches.
That or they're only e-mailing people that aren't getting tickets . Pretty much everyone that got tickets never got an email.
#7285 on my ticket if people are curious about the numbering. Anyone higher?
Keep this up and you are going to get the brewery burned down for real this time.
I've seen a couple of tix higher than that...in the upper 7000's.
8081 and 8082 here
I just got an email after getting my tickets yesterday. Had the tracking plus some basic rules stuff. They also had to twist the knife for the Group E people and reiterate that a variant is not guaranteed.
Got my tickets yesterday and left them on my kitchen counter, now I get an email from Etix saying my tickets are in the mail. So who is the joker who broke into my house stole my tickets and put them back in the mail? And how does Etix know this?
Anyone want to trade a group A ticket for a Brewers ticket?
Nobody likes the Brewers.
Got my tracking info as well. Apparently they're already sitting in my mailbox.
I took day off and was at FFF already, looking for something to do. Now at Noon Whistle. Next up: Mikerphone. Plenty more no-useful-posts to come.
But I will say that FFF still had Rue' D Floyd available so I snagged a couple of bottles. After all the favorable reviews I figured I better get in on the action.
Hi friend. Bramble is the only rye BCBS variant I haven't tried, I'd love to trade a pour if I run into you!
This. Alllllllllll of this.
Assuming you survived the heat and humidity, these are probably the best places to go:
Food & beer:
The hay merchant (PB&J wings)
Breweries in the city:
Brash (only hoppy beers and stouts)
Saint Arnold (oldest craft brewery in Texas)
Whole Foods Post Oak (yes, this is real)
8th Wonder (cool outside area)
Karbach (unless you're against ABInbev)
Breweries out of the city:
Lone Pint (yellow rose)
D&Q beer station (voted best bottle shop in Texas by a beer site that shall remain nameless)
Etix email said they are sharing the band schedule next week.
I got ticket number 8250-ish
Saint Arnold's has to be one of the coolest actual brewery establishments I've been to. Love all the murals.
When I went to Karbach, Hopadillo was a solid IPA but all the variants of BA Hellfighter were the highlight. Super impressed with that line. Food and brewery are good too. (All this before ABinButthole takeover).
Houston 'area' I also highly recommend for beer bar is Nobi. Man, do they have some great beer and Vietnamese inspired food to-go along with.
Highest I've seen so far. I'm thinking 9,000 tix plus all the other tix they hand out to distro, investors, friends and family...
We'll see if anything higher pops up here or on the fake DLD FB page.
I got my tickets yesterday. But received the tracking email about an hour ago.
Me too lmfao! Just checked my email.
Mine were out for delivery yesterday at 9:00 AM, but still nothing. My post office is notorious for being the worst in the city and Chicago is considered one of, if not, the worst postal services in the country. Just hope I have them by the end of the month.
@Bugsmcl Hay Merchant is pretty impressive, esp. (mainly) the wall of taps. Across the street is El Real, if you're feeling like Tex Mex. You can't miss it It may seem like a basic stop to some, but I actually enjoyed it a lot more than some of the other places I stopped.
