I got #7 last year. Definitely tasted like bullshit.

 

I can't imagine a more accurate prediction.

Because I got group A for the 1st my fingers are crossed for some kick-ass variants.
Can you/would you double barrel a Dark lord
Dark lord aged in Copper and Kings brandy barrels that once aged dark lord

 

That hot mustard has been rumored for years. FFF will never make it because the people want it.

 

The bottles for those bullshit in winebarrels were generally cool looking, at least all the ones without paper on them were all cool to me.

 

Unfortunately that was the best part of those beers.

You can drink your Dark Lord and you can share your Dark Lord, but your fest is over when you start sharing Dark Lord you've already drunk.

 

Do you have this one, requirement is at least 5 bottles comfortably as you gotta get your wares out of DL.

 

I don't think you have to worry about having awesome variants in group A. It's practically a guarantee you'll get something good in group A...it's the people in group C & D that will be sweating it out.

 

But what about group B?!

(Disclaimer - I'm group A. Just giving a shout out to the forgotten.)

 

Im gonna say something to do with maple syrup.

 

I'm in group B...not mentioning B was my attempt to assure myself I'll get something good and don't have to worry about too much either.

 

Assuming they do something even remotely like they did last year variant wise, A and B should both be fine.

C will be fine if you line up at a decent time.

 

In my experience the first peoples in group B have a crack at a top 2 variant. Typically the number three variant and BBA DL are easily available for group B.

 

Yep, that's what I've thought as well. It's just a matter of what that 2nd top tier variant is (assuming the first is Vanilla/Handjee), and whether I want to try and be one of the first people in line to try for one of them.
