Not when you include tax, but I agree that is a very reasonable price given their reputation.

Price check at Blue Max is $23 including tax, limit 1 as mentioned above.

It was ~$40/btl either last year or the year before @ Surdyk's. So yeah that's progress...

 

Top Valu (Columbia heights Muni) has it $23.99, same price as Tower in Roseville. St. Anthony had it as well for a buck or so cheaper.

 

South Lyndale releases their bottles @ 5 pm. 2 btl limit for $19.99.

 

chicago lake just put out their last case (7 total). $21.99, 3 bottle limit

 

Downtown Haskells is releasing it Thursday morning.
I'm so busy today I don't know if I'll be able to pick up some. Unless 44th and France manages to hold on some til 7:00.

 

Was there less Darkness bottled this year like Wet and Fest?

 

Richfield liquor (7700 Lyndale) said they haven't received their allotment yet but expect it between now and Wednesday.

 

Darkness bottles were about the same this year as they were last. Right around 25,000 bottles.

 

Glenn Lake Wine and Spirits says it will hit tomorrow.

 

Heritage has it. 2 btl limit.

 

Last time I checked, nobody here is including the tax.
Also FF gives you a discount when you pay in cash - I believe 5%

Who else does that?

The only reputation they have, that I know of, is that they run out of everything quick.
Please elaborate on this reputation you refer to, as I'm curious to what it is.

Gone at Heritage

 

I think the poster was referring to prices being often higher at Four Firkins than other stores. I often find the same beer at the Liquor Barrel in SLP a few miles away cheaper than at 4F.

 

Byerly's SLP has it, $20.99/bottle. Thankfully I don't need any!

 

Typical Andy's response. They will get it the same time everyone else does in Rochester. As for Apollo, I hope you get called, I've been on the list the past 2 years and never got called. Just kept checking in person.

 

Depends on the location. Some places put it on sooner, others later. I imagine somewhere around town could have it on tap around Thanksgiving.

 

Last year it was on almost constantly somewhere or another until Christmas, or thereabouts. Seems like there was a ton more on tap to go around last year than previously.
