Had a great time camping, I didn't venture around too much cause I was haing a blast around the people in line with me. Got to try some great beers, loved Damien. I was pooped by the time I left at 3pm.

Next year I'll try to venture out and meet more of you.

Only 364 days until the next Darkness Day....tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick...

Oh and I met some awesome Chicago BAs- I had no sooner stepped out of my car then been handed a free 6 pack of FFF and a can from Revolution by a distributor in Chi-town. I got nothing but love for Chicago BAs (except when they're at Soldier Field).

I agree, my group was from chicagoland, we had a blast, drama free, shared some great beer, and made many new friends, and met some awesome BAs

I made it there at about 4:15pm and was camped out right next to the Limited Beer Release guys, which entailed not leaving the area due to all the beers they kept bringing out. I didn't meet many people from BA, hopefully next time. I assume I was standing by most of you when in line for wristbands, id assume the guy in the Giants jacket was Biglobo. Saw Andy having a blast with his Cantillon bottle and holstering his "gun" haha. I enjoyed my random IP trade for an empty bottle of Rye'da Tiger for a full bottle of KBS, he must of really liked the artwork.

I talked to one of the people working the event yesterday. He just said he had to work today at the brewery on Sunday. Possibly a thank you for the volunteers?

Thanks to all who stopped by our camper shared a beer and had a sausage made with Darkness. It was a long day, but great people and beers made it all worth it. Shame on the peeps who burned the dumpster.

I didn't ever have to my extra layers on, apparently my Optimus Prime hoodie was plenty warm. Ha! See you all next year, cheers!

Hmmm...I didn't see any issues with them, and I was standing right at the front gate all morning. Must have been blind!

Given the masses of humanity that were there by 7pm Friday all loaded with a ton of double digits ABV brews,I thought this went as well as could be expected. Volunteers around all night,we had the incredible luck of being in line right next to the Toppling Goliath people. They brought growlers of everything, even multiple bottles of Assassin, Omar came and visited, his dad Naseem came over and said hi,Four Firkins Liquor was riding around dropping 6 packs of craft beer off everywhere, we had a case of the newly released Devil Made Me Do It by Tyranena, yeah it got cold, and didnt get much sleep as people were hooting and hollering all night, but all the people we were with were great, lots of shared top 100 craft beer, all were sharing food, a couple portos got a little nasty overnight, but they were quickly cleaned up, 240 volunteers,Omar and I recalled the first year,250 bottles,2 per person.Kudos to the entire Surly organization

You're talking about the ones that were inside the "gates". I'm talking about the ones that were available to use all evening/morning, prior to the gates opening. The ones that were all overflowing by early morning, as I said.

I believe you poured me a bit of NG Serendipity and I remember I opened some wax capped bottle at your spot with one of the bottle openers I got from Lobo which my reward was a pour of ah man I can't remember (had a party last night too...) I think it was a Saison. Anyways you guys were really cool, and thanks for the tasty beer, that Serendipity was delicious. I also had a growler of Barley John's Wet Hopped Pale Ale which I was pouring if you remember.

Yep, I definitely remember you. You were one of the first people to hang out at our table. You opened a bottle of Syx at our table and had some Daves BrewFarm Citra Single Hop.

Should of stopped and said hi, you were all enjoying some great beers. Unfortunately all I could think of at that time was water and wristbands.

Sounds like there was plenty of room left for wrist bands. That's a bummer because I cancelled my 2.5 hour trip at 11pm when I heard there was over 800+ inline already.. Next year I guess.. Now I have to pay the horrible mark up of northern mn retailers of $28 a bottle.
