Fuck it. So long as the Green Line is finished so I can go from Town Hall to Surly and back for a buck twentyfive. And grab a shitty slice served by a complacent asshole at Downtown Pizza on the way home; for I'll be quite inebriated you see.

I do remember seeing they have a bunch of sÿx aging on white grapes or barrels or some shit... Remember seeing something about it on the tweet tweet.

What time do the doors normally open and can you buy darkness bottles?

Gates open at noon. However they have handed out wristbands early that morning to those who are in line. I don't think camping out was a requirement to get beer last year. But I would expect it to be that way this year.

SBW hung up the Bullhorn after several years of exemplary service to pursue other endeavors. His parting words... "Suck it!"

Really hoping to pop my Darkness Day cherry this year. If the Gophers football game against Nebraska gets scheduled for 2:30 or something maybe I'll do the whole overnight deal, get my bottle(s) at noon and a few drinks and head to the game after? Or maybe I'll just say screw the game and go to Darkness Day

I try not to assume these things....but it's safe to say you would've heard from me prior to October.

As far as getting bottles AT noon you would have to be one of the first hundred or so in line for wristbands. Bottles released in waves of people. I got in line around 1-2am and was in the third or fourth group.

I was in the third group, but shoulda been at least 2nd maybe first. Got there like 5pm the day before but the new "ok everyone stand up and rush forward" system pissed me off, I easily lost 1 time slot thanks to it.

Everyone will get bottles this year, whether you camp out for a week or show up at 12:30 like I did last year.
