I have never heard of this superpower beer, just looked it up and looks awesome. Does it actually give you super powers? I may need those around Midnightish.

 

It's not "poutine" per se, but Surly Beer Hall's Hog Frites are close enough to scratch the poutine itch. This is where I would go if I wanted French fries smothered with "smoked meat, pepper jack fondue,and giardinera." Oh, and some of the hair of the dog…

Well the speaker will be like a Beacon but there will be homemade bacon onion and cheese scones Saturday morning.

Yeah, this will make for an interesting evening of drinking outside. At least when it's really cold out you can bundle up, but staying dry in the rain is a pain in the ass.

couple buddies and I will be making the trek from Iowa. Not arriving till about 10pm on friday. Will I be good to get a wrister and be involved in the party if I show up that late?

Also i'd love to meet up with a few of you to share some beers and finally meet in person!

Honestly it's a toss up, I would say if you show up at 10 and don't get cut in front of by a bunch of line cutters, you should be good. Honestly, the colder temps and precipitation will most likely deter some people from coming out too. Last year, the weathers as great and I've never seen that many people. This year could be a lot different.

 

Starting a "secure line" would kill the bottle share. The ability to come and go and visit with other groups is one of the best things about the event. I'd rather not get bottles than miss out on the bottle share.

 

They could always do wristbands at the gate...

 

If anyone has a gas powered generator with a 110v outlet that I could use for Dday, please BM me.... pours of good beer and piping hot chili will be your reward.
