This will be my first time attending Darkness Day. Would arriving at 7am saturday morning be too late to get a wristband? I am flying in late friday night and I am not too sure what time is considered "Too Late" to get a wrist band. I think they said they were handing out 1200 wrist bands. Thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

So do you stand in line and then at 11am they give you your band?

You might want to head over to the Midwest thread where Darkness Day is being discussed. Overall, I think showing up at 7:00 would be too late to get one of the wristbands. They were gone by 7:15-7:30 last year and I imagine more people will showing up this year. They come around in the morning and hand out the wristbands to those waiting in line.

its usually pretty early, like 8 or 9. get there the night before and come check out all the tasting tables, bring something fun if you can.

Anytime after 7 would probably be cutting it too close for comfort if last year was any indication of the growing crowd. My crew didn't get there until 5:45 or so and I was pretty concerned we were going to be left behind. Alas, I was gladly mistaken.
