Three pack of 2012, 2013 and 2014 Darkness for 99 bucks at BC Liquors in Brooklyn Center. Pricey, but thought if anyone has a thirst for Darkness they might want to go grab a pack.

that is pricey, but not obscene. $25 retail on the bottles, they marked them up $8 each for storing them for a year or 2.

Buy at your own risk, though. There were some reports of heavily oxidized beer bought from their "cellar" event last December.

I grabbed the last one this morning. Little sad to see the post about oxidation now.

Heh, sorry. If its bad return it - they're the ones that potentially improperly "cellared" them (hopefully not in a storefront window?). Good luck!

What would accelerate the oxidation? The temperature? Just curious because I've had all of those somewhat recently and I keep them in the basement without any issues to date.

Potentially oxidation, or just potentially not aging well. Broadly, heat and light contribute to these issues. Hence beer cellar, rather than beer skylit attic :stuck_out_tongue:
