Darkness in Chicago

Just picked up a bottle from the Orland Park Binny's, the limit there is 1 bottle. Buddy went to the Evergreen Park Binny's and grabbed a few, no bottle limit.

 

Anybody see any at Naperville or BB Binnys?

 

Just picked up one at Binny's on Dempster in Skokie. 1pp limit, $22/bottle. There was probably 8-9 left on the shelf still.

 

they didnt even have it on darkness day like hey did last year

 

As of an hour ago Naperville looked close to running out (limit two). BB truck had not arrived yet.

 

Lakeview binnys has them as well. Can't wait to do a side by side with last year.

 

Does anyone know if these typically hit Whole Foods and other spots that carry Surly? Or just Binnys?

 

Already answered earlier in the thread for you. I didn't have to "chase" this one at all last year and ended up with two bottles.

This was so much earlier than last year, I wonder what the deal is this year? Anybody heard anything about BA Darkness? It did not sound like it made an appearance at Darkness Day this year.

If anyone is still interested in meeting up at Bitter Pops, I'll be in. This is my favorite spot in Chicago.

 

Ps...Bitter Pops ended up getting 5 cases instead of 2 of darkness.

 

Binnys at Mokena has darkness, 2 pp, 22 dlls plus taxes, hard to say how many left since I didn't ask

 

Shout out to bitter pops. First time going and super friendly. Wish every release of bottles was like this. Good vibes and Darkness is drinking great.

 

Mokena Binny's was out when I stopped in at 6:20. The Monday daytime release is a rough one. Hopefully the BA search will be more fruitful

 

Will any other stores in the suburbs other than Binny's have darkness?

 

Oh yeah, the BA search should be a breeze.

 

No...unless you consider reading the thread talking about other stores that have had Darkness this year or had it last year...or if you consider going to Surly's website and seeing which stores in Chicago are having it.

 

Standard Market in Naperville just posted that they got some. Have to ask for it
