Darkness on tap sightings

Anyone know if the Surly taproom is going to have any tomorrow? Or did Wednesday's tapping kick already?

 

They posted on the taproom twitter today that they still have Darkness to pour starting at 3 tomorrow. If you are heading over stop at Nova/somewhere else and grab me some New Glarus fruit beers to save me a trip!

 

Nice! I should make it over there, then. I'm already in the TC area for Thanksgiving so I don't have the NG right now

 

No worries, I still have a bunch left anyway and always look forward to my trips over there. Have fun at Surly, I think I will be making an appearance there at some point tomorrow night.

 

Mmm darkness still going at republic... Free parking after work was an added bonus! (City holiday)

 

Was fun at the taproom tonight. Darkness, Damien, Cacao Bender did it for me. Plus some Dampfbier and El Hefe Negro. All interesting.

 

Nice, was the El Hefe Negro the cherry barrel aged version? I ended up making the 45 mile trip over to Nova's anyway to grab a couple more cases of Raspberry Tart and Strawberry Rhubarb, and grab a pint of Pseudo Sue in the bar.

 

Yes it was and it was awesome.

 

There's a place called Outtakes in New Hope that I didn't even know existed until recently. A buddy and I just stopped in because they have a pool table and a bunch TVs to watch college football. Total hole-in-the-wall; pulltabs, Big Buck Hunter, about eight taps (even fewer people), three of which were Surly handles, and I'll be goddamned if one wasn't Darkness. Full pint pours. Mind blown.

 

Anybody seen any Darkness on tap as of late?

BWW in Rochester had kegs of Darkness and Cocoa Bender a week ago. Full pints for $5.50. It may still be there as we were the only ones drinking it. Everyone else had tall glasses of what looked like yellow water.

 

We will have one more tapping of Darkness for our Anniversary! Tuesday Feb 18th
