Is this a "Use by Date" or a "Date of Manufacture?" I figure someone out there with a recent purchase can easily check and see if the date stamp is in the future, but the following makes me think it is a "Use by Date." From FAQ What is the shelf life of the yeast? The shelf life is shown on the sachets individually and is two years from the date of manufacture.
Totally agree...bought a few packs of 05 and after getting home, I thought it said 02 2015, so I used them up as fast as I could. When pitching the last pack, I noticed the dot printing actually said 02 2016, not 2015. Oh well
