Dating Alexander Rodenbach

    I am trying to ascertain the date on one of my bottles and its unclear.. any experts out there? Or advice?

    From the post title, I thought some nice man named Alexander took you on a date and you are now going steady.

    Oh well, enjoy the beer. I hear Alexander is more into Duchesses anyway.

    I think the last bottling was 1998 and the earliest batch is from 1986, and there were only a few vintages inbetween... This is just what I remember though. You should ask over on the other site, there are a lot more Belgian experts over there.

    I was wondering the same thing, someone randomly gave me one last year and I couldn't find out any specifics. But you should definitely open it soon, it was easily the best fruit beer I've ever had!
