Hello. Will be in the Davenport FL area and looking for suggestions on where to go for beer. Breweries or liquor stores. Local stuff or just good beer. Thanks Jake
Nothing great really around there! 1845 Taphouse to drink (generic craft beer bar, lots of macros for the locals, the occasional good selection), and honestly, just whatever Publix is nearest to you for package. If you want to make a short day trip, there's a solid brewery and a few good places to drink in Winter Haven ~30 minutes away, or if you're spending some time in the Orlando resort area, Half Barrel Beer Project is a good beer bar/brewery/retail store (and is also ~30 minutes away if you're lucky with traffic).
@shand is spot on, not a lot of options in Davenport besides 1845 and maybe a few of the restaurants at the Omni resort. If you can travel into Orlando, definitely check out Half Barrel, A La Cart and The Commission. GBs Bottle Shop is doing their annual IPA challenge finals this weekend. I'll probably hit up a couple of these places this weekend too.
