It is pretty far and you'd need to make a weekend trip out of it and the Twin Cities, I guess. The kids old enough to go camping yet?

Sorry to be late to this lovely DBF thread (thanks for the love!) but the info posted by those who have been to the BrewFarm is correct. Camping is nearby (about 2 miles north of the BrewFarm) in a nice County park (Glen Hills).
I'm kegging-off the SOB OMG! after I get done responding to this thread and yes, Mocha Diablo will get kegged this week too. For those that haven't checked, we're open the weekends in SEP the 14-15th and 28-29th, 3-7 each day.

I think one the problems out there is people have a certain perception of what a brewery "is" and our business model is rather unique and doesn't fit that mold. I'm a one-man shop and intend to stay that way. Growth is tied to achieving a sustainable "lifestyle" vs. chasing $$$ and shelf space. It's about brewing unique beers of distinction - and brewing them well. The community of beer lovers that make the trek out here is what makes the BrewFarm really special - Thank You!

Any BA can drop me a note here or davesbrewfarm at gmail dot com. Sometimes I won't know what's gonna be on tap for the weekend until the morning of - just the way it plays sometimes. I really do try and get info out there but more often than not, time doesn't allow for sitting in front of the computer.

Thanks again for the Love and come out soon!

ISO SOB OMG! Seriously though. If someone can hook up a growler I'll make it worth it! BM me if you can. Please! :grinning:

Btw, Farmer Dave I love the whole idea behind your brewery. Sucks that I can't get your beer more often (generally only in the summers if I can make a weekend), but I love what you're doing! Keep it up.

Probably another 2-3 years before I am brave enough to take them camping. My wife will wonder what is so special about camping at Glen Hills.

So seriously, if anyone is heading to Dave's today and wants to pick me up a growler of SOB OMG let me know! I'll go over $4$ with Stone, Deschutes, and/or anything else out of your distro. Just let me know! Thanks!

Sorry to say SOB OMG! is not available in growlers this weekend. It's a summer seasonal (fresh basil from our Brewer's Garden) and when the temps start to drop, other beers take its place. 'Til next year!!!

For shame!! Thanks for letting me know. Guess it's a pretty good reason to visit next time I'm in WI, not that I needed another one.
