Nothing cleansed the palate of reading about overhyped / beer trading / waiting in line for releases / gotta-catch-'em-all-it-ness of the current scene like a trip to Dave's. One of the most unique and fun beer experiences I've had. Such a bummer. Just drank my last growler too - I guess for totally selfish reasons I hope you haven't sold the farm by the time I am back up in November!
I hope it goes to someone who knows what they are doing. Great opportunity for a brewer who has been slaving away at a bigger brewery and has saved up enough to open their own place.
I'm regretting the fact I never stopped in there despite living a half hour away from the place. Lots of unique offerings from that place.
It is, in fact, not too late! If you Facebook, check out his page there, he always posts the weekends the BrewFarm is open. Hie thee hither. His mad brewing genius is not to be missed.
