I'll be here in the middle of the week and will start my day at Monk's. Probably will get Tiered Hands in at some point. I am looking for some other recommendations. I am staying right by Iron Hill and was going to check it out...but open to recommendations. Thanks
Probably the most interesting spots right now are Fermentery Form (which has limited hours) and Human Robot. You could walk between them but I wouldn't do that at night. Other ideas would be Callowhill for Yards/Love City/Triple Bottom or South Philly for ARS/2nd District/Stickman/Separatist. Glory Beer Bar may be worth a trip depending on what's on tap.
@Hayesbro provided some good options above. Of those options my personal choice/suggestion would be the Spring Garden Street 'tour': Yards -> Love City -> Triple Bottom. You could also add Roy Pitz to the itinerary if you are ambitious. Cheers!
Thanks for all the info. Seems with current environment, not every establishment is open regular hours. Will check some places out.
Grab a roast pork sandwich from DiNic's in Reading Terminal Market. Better than any cheesesteak. https://readingterminalmarket.org/merchant/dinics/ Also - if you're going to Monk's, I'm a big fan of Jose Pistola's which is about a block from there. Killer burritos and good tap list https://www.pistolaslife.com/jose-s-menu
I'll second Jose's, that place rocks. If it's crowded, try going upstairs. And don't forget McGlinchy's next door. A couple blocks further east down Spruce are Varga Bar and one of the Trias. Both are recommended.
