Any suggestions for day drinking and bottle grabbing downtown? In town Wednesday if anyone wants to drink. Or can bring some local Aslin to STL
I'd suggest doing a quick search on here to find all of the threads on St. Louis, such as the following - http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/st-louis-trip-may13-15.400818/ http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/heading-to-st-louis-what-to-seek-out.399015/ http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/visit-to-st-louis.392259/ as well as stlhops.com Should give you all the information you need and then some.
I would go to Side Project Cellar for an hour or two. They make some great sours and have a nice selection of other beers as well but I don't believe you can purchase bottles there. Clayton Beer Cellar is a great bottle shop if you want to purchase some beers.
They do offer to go bottles from time to time - check their website to see what's available. Today nothing, but I've seen Marietta and Biere du Pays on trips I've taken. Second thumbs up for the Craft Beer Cellar in Clayton. They have a small selection on tap, plus a really well organized store with a great selection of bottles. Ask for Justin -- he can point you to the good stuff sitting around.
