Heading to Philly this Saturday to pick up my wife's sister. Hoping to stop at Fermentery Form if they're open from 12 to 4pm (fingers crossed). Was looking for suggestions on parking, food, fun things to do, places to avoid, etc. Thanks in advance!!
Human Robot was the best brewery I went to when I had a day trip last summer Monk's is a must-hit if you like Belgian beers or want to try Russian River There's Other Half now, if you want some hazy stuff they're probably the best bet Pretty sure you can stil get Tired Hands cans at St. Oner's
Thanks! Is driving into the city to hit a couple breweries and maybe a place to eat a bad idea? Is parking limited and/or expensive? Traffic on a Saturday afternoon bad? Any tips greatly appreciated.
I went there last month for the first time, and yeah, parking in the city sucks. I managed to find street parking on my last day to go to Monk's, but there were traffic bans the 2 other times I tried to go. That being said, Monk's is worth it. And if you can somehow squeeze in time away from the city, go to Forest & Main in Ambler
Huge difference between parking near Monks and HR/FF. You can park on the street no problem on a Saturday afternoon near those. If you go into Center City you can get lucky with a two-hour spot but that might depend on your patience. You can check Parkopedia to see what lot rates are like. As far as traffic, it looks like you'll be taking 76, and that will be bad in the afternoon, unfortunately.
