In Daytona area (port orange) for the week. What's good around here BAs?

Beer bars, bottle shops, but especially breweries.

Google hasn't provided me with anything terribly interesting.

Nothing? Doesn't have to be Daytona Beach, just somewhere reasonable to drive.

There are some decent places in deland...1 is called the abbey and it is supposed to have some great rotating taps there as well as some vintage bottles. There is also a place called mad hatters tavern that has a lot of taps. I'd recommend the abbey if I had to choose one. Deland js about 25 minutes wesr of daytona. In orange park further north there is a bar called kickbacks that's pretty stellar. That's all I can think of unless you go to Orlando and hit relight redlight.

Port Orange has a World if Beer. Downtown Daytona Beach has McJ's and Bottlecaps, adjoining bar/pub and bottle shop.

That's supposed to be McK's above... Stupid iPhone keyboard! Also, at Volusia Co. Mall is Mr. Dunderbak's. Last December I found 15 day old Jai Alai there.

World FOR beer! weird name huh? I kept saying it wrong too. Cool bar though. 300 bottles, 50 taps, nothing rare or crazy, but a lot of beer I can't get in NY for sure.

Also went to BJ's brewpub in Daytona Beach. Great food, their beer was better than a few brewpubs I've been to, but nothing to scream about.

and A1A Alehouse and JP Henley's in St. Augustine.
