DC Brau in bottle shops

    Gonna be coming through DC in a couple weeks on a day that DC Brau is closed. Any good places to find DC Brau in bottle shops??

    cans of DC Brau are pretty ubiquitous in DC. call whatever shops are near where you'll be, but it shouldn't be something you need to hunt down. most whole foods carry it. only one that's hard to get is OTWOA.

    You can easily get The Public, Citizen, Corruption, The Tradition, El Hefe Speaks, and Penn Q Porter at P street Whole Foods. All of that is on the shelf right now.

    yeah, OTWOA has been strictly a brewery buy.. I think once they shipped out a very limited amount and that was just before the brewery shut down to expand and they much have just been looking to move inventory.

    sorry to be that guy but DC Brau doesn't have a lot of info about OTWOA. I see some places have it on tap. Seems like cans are available pretty infrequently at the brewery. Am I wrong on this or could I theoretically stop by this weekend and pick some up? Thanks.

    They usually post on their fbook / twitter on thurs/fri if OTWOA will be available the coming wknd.

    Are you sure they'll be closed? In the past, they've sold cans at the brewery on the weekdays. Just no growler fills. Might just want to give them a call when you're in town.

    I have stopped by on weekdays before to buy just cans. If you call ahead they're usually cool with it.
