DC Brau released Solar Abyss this weekend. Growler fills only. Not canned or bottled. Looking for Solar Abyss on tap in metro DC.

^ this. DC Brau really knows how to kill it with their DIPAs.

It is quite good. My favorite part was the nose. Just a strawberry and grapefruit explosion.

Drinking it right now at Meridian Pint. Good stuff, but I think Armageddon is still better.

Does DC Brau do 32 oz growlers? I'd love to get a growler of this stuff but 64 oz is a bit much.

You can either bring your own 32oz growler or buy their new 32oz growler they starting selling last weekend for $4. 32oz fill of Solar Abyss was $9.

Adding to what skinsfan said, their regular beers are $6 for a 32oz fill and the special beers like Solar Abyss are $9.

There are a few place that still have it on tap... but driving into DC is a pain in the ass for me... there is never anywhere to park.

Disagree. Not the biggest fan of Wings, but I'll take Mosaic over FF any day. That being said, I had the chance to try them side by side but failed. Maybe this weekend.

Solar Abyss was a tad too sweet and chewy for me (for a DIPA). still damn tasty but i prefer the dryness of Wings.

GBD had it on tap last week, along with Stone's Grapefruit Slam. i liked the SA better, underwhelmed by the Grapefruit.
