totally agree. CBS was perfect. glad i stocked up.
Anyone found any CBS around Columbia/Elkridge area of MD? Hoping I didn't miss the boat!
Abraxas & Abyss + variants at TW Fairfax, 1pp. But really, it's St. Nick's Day so you should all be picking up a Samichlaus too.
Perfect Pour showed it on Facebook on Monday. Not sure if they still have it.
Yea I saw as well. Unfortunately they sold out in like 3 hours and I couldn't make it.
Anybody else at Churchkey’s Prairie event tonight?
At least two bottles of CBS left behind the counter at WFP. I got a free *pint* of GBS with mine. Ask the lady about how they need to oxygenate their taps better.
Gone. You guys work fast.
Random, asking for someone else, but anyone see Dogfish Head Ta Henket around?
CBS was fantastic I thought not too heavy and well balanced. Mad Elf Grand Cru was quite unexpected in flavor, actually quite good. I also enjoyed this very much.
TW Alexandria just got their drop of Abyss variants.
I was too late as well but the dude behind the register said they'd be getting some interesting stuff in later this week so watch their Twitter account.
We got 4 cases of CBS at Yes! Organic Market in Petworth, unfortunately we need to sell them as 2-packs thanks to the Ward 4 singles law.
Our Eastern Market store has some CBS left too. Not sure how many.
I hope you're giving the Ward 4 folks a discount since you're forcing them to buy two!
Dominion just got their drop of Abraxas...
No gouging at Yes! Petworth, thankfully. 54 for the pair, right around 60 after tax. There were 9 or 10 pairs left on the growler bar an hour ago.
Supposedly they're over 50% sold out already -- that's faster than I would have expected.
BBA Ten FIDY at WF Old Town.
Nicks of Clinton with a few bottles of CBS left for anyone around southern MD. $23
Not a bad price at all. I think in certain areas, these beers just go unnoticed by the general buyer.
Founders killed it with the CBS release. It seems like anyone that wanted some, got some. Hope they have some killer BA series releases next year.
Heading down to Tysons Corner tomorrow from Baltimore. Not used to having so many Total Wines in close proximity. Do any stand out in terms of quality and inventory? Someone above mentioned Alexandria has the Abyss variants. I don't mind driving around as we'll be there for most of the day.
Looks like most TWs still have variants in stock per the web site. Alexandria is probably the best in terms of variety but at the same time it sells out the quickest for special releases. I would check out Norms and WF in Vienna as well as Dominion in Falls Church.
The Brew Shop in Arlington may have them as well.
CBS at Whole Foods Springfield, $25
Any lines on Christmas Morning of KY Christmas Morning around the DC area would be much appreciated. I know the latter was just released at the brewery but heard quick distro times for the other GBS beers.
anybody seen Lagunitas Willetized Coffee Stout? I see it's popping up at some spots on the East Coast.
Dominion got Christmas Morning today so I'd expect to hit other shops in the area this week.
Looks like they got Willetized too. So that answers both questions
Only 1 case, and they're limiting it to 1 bottle per person.
Alex said the bulk of it is going to Wegmans and TW. Have they received any yet?
The couple of locations I called seemed to think they'd probably receive tomorrow
I know High West sat on some shelves at some lesser known stores in DC. It was a shame IMHO. Beer was so so good. Particularly for the price point.
Not a better value than this beer or Born Yesterday. Both beers would sell out at $20/6 pack.
Are you saying not a good value? I never saw it for $20/6. I bought one at $14 and then one store clearly didn't know what they had and had it at $11/6. At either price point it's a steal because I would honestly pay $20/6.
No the exact opposite. An amazing value for the high quality. I’ve paid around 12-14 per sixer. Beers of comparable quality are easily at $20.
I think he's saying that nothing beats the value of this beer and BY, and even at a higher price they would both sell out.
Speaking of High West, any news on High West Victory at Sea? It's also popping up at other places around the country.
TW McLean has Willetized out on the floor. Looks like they got a decent amount. No limits. $13.99 a six pack.
Same for TW Ballston
