FW XXI at TW Alexandria and Springfield, and the 10% off email coupon works in it too.

Willettized also in at TW Alexandria and coming to Springfield later today.

 

Any DC sightings yet for FW21, KCM, or Willetized?

 

I'll say that Mcl got FW and sold out of it on Monday, well that's what they told me today.

They also have cases upon cases of Willettized.

 

Seconded on the question of whether kcm has hit the area. I saw it has hit around total wines closer to Richmond already

 

Willetized at Calvert Woodley ($14.99). They also have BP High West Victory at Sea ($15.99/4 pack).

 

Any idea on allocation?

 

What's the price and size of the FW? My 10% coupon says four or six pack. Wonder if they would honor that for the FW?

 

I think it's 12oz for 13.99....that is unless someone makes a mistake listing the price again...........

 

In my experience, they won't honor the discount on singles/bombers.

 

They will not. I've tried a couple times and they reiterated a few times that it has to be a 4pk or 6pk.

 

I only saw a single case at each store, but they may have had more squirreled away.

 

It was $14 and 12 oz.

My coupon says it works on 4/6 packs and bottles 16+ oz over $7.99, but I noticed a few months ago the coupons work on any single bottle that meets the price threshold, regardless of size. Whether the employees will scan it is a different matter, but they've never turned me down.

 

I was in TW McLean on Saturday with no coupon in hand and picked up a bottle of Abyss Tequila. The cashier made a joke about the name, I laughed, and she scanned a coupon code that she had hanging from her register for 10% off. So, yea, I guess it's just up to the employee.

 

At that price it seems like the obvious choice is to just pick up another sixer of the Willetized and call it a day.

 

I was told by someone working at wegmans that it was delayed until later this week (maybe Friday) because of a problem with UPC codes or something like that. Not sure if it applies to reg Christmas Morning, KCM, or both.

 

TW Alexandria and Springfield have extremely limited quantity of FW Anniversary about 2 bottles...Springfield also has some Christmas Morning left as well.

 

Anyone seen the new EBK around?

 

Some TWs will scan it (Alexandria, Springfield & McLean), others will not (Ballston & Laurel) because they read right off the coupon that it "only applies to 4/6 packs". So, if one plans on using the coupons, go to those stores that just scan the coupons without reading them.

 

Has anyone seen Prairie Vanilla Noir floating around DMV area?
