I had one last night and it's still tasting great. It's pretty good at a very good price.

I grabbed some at TW chantilly yesterday.

I agree, still tastes good to me. I'd buy more if somewhere close to me had any.

Did this ever make it into DC proper? If so, any left somewhere? I looked around, but never saw it. Still want to try it, even though it's way past "yesterday".

Are you talking about Born Yesterday or Born Again Yesterday? The former would be months old, while the latter should be quite fresh.

Born Again Yesterday at Wine Source in Baltimore.

The latter. At 2 weeks old it was already a malty mess. Not at all like the BY of fall 2016. But hey it's cheap!

I have most of a 12 pack left if you want it.

+1, had one last night and still plenty bright and hoppy. Lagunitas tends to make hoppy beers that are a bit too sweet and syrupy for my taste, but I've really enjoyed both rounds of Born Yesterday.

According to Arrowine's weekly email Westbrook has expanded and will distro in DC now. So looks like the CBC drop wasn't just a one time thing.

I'm looking to get out of the house this Saturday and venture off to a local brewery, I'm just having trouble thinking of one that I haven't been to and that has decent beer. Any recommendations for some under-rated/up-and-coming places within an hour of DC? I've been to:

DC Brau, Right Proper, Atlas, Aslin, Port City, Bardo, Franklins, Hell Bender, 3 Stars, Adroit Theory, Ocelot, Pen Druid, Flying Dog, Old 690, Dirt Farm

I'm definitely looking for something other than your standard microbrew lineup

Their standards pretty much suck, but maybe the new Heritage place in Arlington is worth a try for their "experimental" brews?

    Also, Bluejacket?

Yeah that's the problem. For such a large urban area our breweries are mediocre at best, with a few notable exceptions.

I have been to blue jacket, but I've not been to Heritage. I'll check it out, thanks!

RAR? Or hit up the country/farm combo of Waredaca and Brookeville Beer Farm?

You can also head towards Baltimore and go to Diamondback/Union/Peabody Heights/Heavy Seas/Brewers Art

RAR is doing a release this weekend. Pulp Friction pre-sale is out, but they will have 25 cases for walk up. They also have a NE Pale Ale "Slip Ons" that have some tickets left. Also pouring an oatmeal stout they collabed with a Vermont brewery. Be forewarned that the walkup Pulp Friction will most likely be gone by noon, but they will have it on tap.

Manor Hill said they would be releasing a few new ones this weekend also.

And Aslin is doing a Saturday release due to a malfunction with their canning line. (Instead of typical Thurs/Fri.)
