DC/MD/NoVA Beer Updates (2018)

Got a nice drop of Interboro and Singlecut in DC

I had this beer when the Caps eliminated the Pens, I had to buy it for every series after that. My heart stopped when I couldnt find it for the Vegas series. ... it wroked out somehow

 

Trickery at Dominion and likely popping up elsewhere around NoVA.

 

At least a few Total Wines in VA seemed to get it - I grabbed one at Ballston last night and they had a few left

Any CBS drops tomorrow in VA or DC or all next week?

 

SixPoint’s new NEIIPA, Meltdown, has hit the shelves for mass distribution and would def recommend after finishing my first one. Finally a good NEIPA available in the DMV at affordable prices (~$12-13/6).

 

It hit town a couple weeks ago and I agree. $12 a sixer of a goodass higher ABV NE IPA is a steal

 

That's a great price point and love that it's 12ozs. I'll have to search that out.

 

CBS at the coffee bar at WF Old Town ($25, 2 per). I heard TW Springfield had it this morning as well, though I can't confirm firsthand and don't know if it's still there.

 

I stopped by briefly at this location around 10:00 am and I can confirm that there was NOT any CBS available, nor did it appear as though they had on sale either.

 

Bummer you missed out. The wife and I each snagged two bottles there yesterday.

 

I'm not overly bummed, I have so many bottles to take down as it is and I'm sure I'll cross paths with this beer at a bottle share soon.

 

I was just in upstate New York and was in three places that had CBS sitting there, with no limits. At $25 and with one from last year still sitting in my basement, my total haul was zilch.

 

It came and went at Dominion last week.

 

16 cases of CBS at Whole Foods Fair Lakes @ $25/

 

Word has it that Wegmans hasn’t been able to put theirs out yet due to some mixup between their system and hardywoods in terms of being able to scan. I think they’re hoping to have it resolved by week’s end.

 

Lots of CBS at Whole Foods Foggy Bottom as of 12:30 today. No limit.

 

I stopped by for a few items this morning, and the definitely still had a few bottles of CBS out. For those who don't want to sort through the quotes, this is the front coffee bar at the WF on Duke Street.

Also, Trickery ($10.99) and CBS ($20.99) at Costco Richmond Highway (south Alexandria, not the Crystal City one) with no apparent limits.
