I had heard that it would likely be Q1 2020.
For the OH at DTC, I've made the trip 2 or 3 times. If you leave at the off peak and don't hit terrible Beltway traffic, it's about 30 minutes from Arlington.
Also picked up some Singlecut there, but the prices on the 4 packs are high - one was $28.

For any DC folks heading to Denver/Colorado, I totally agree with the above. Weldwerks especially was a huge letdown after driving all the way out there. Bierstadt and Cerebral had the best beer, I thought (couldn’t work in a trip to Casey).

I lived in Denver for a few years before moving here. Everyone there is delusional and thinks they live in the beer mecca of the universe. Yes, they have a LOT of micro breweries. But 99% of them aren't good. It's either the altitude that gets to people's heads or it's the legal green sticky leaf.

This is true basically everywhere (locals overinflate the relative quality of their local beers).

Only slightly joking: except Southern California, where beer quality is so high beers better than hype breweries in other parts of the country are not held in particularly high regard.

Anyone interested in my zenne box? Ordered it for a tasting but things never materialized and would rather just get my cash back. Shoot me a pm if you're interested, looking to have someone pick up from me in DC (H Street)

So I’m in arlington, right by the pentagon. Already went to Churchkey. I have no car but I can walk and take the metro. Where else should I go?

    Back to Churchkey.

Or, if you don't mind a little walk from the Metro, go to the Aslin taproom in Alexandria.

Dominon Wine and Beer is in falls church and maybe a 20 min walk from the West Falls Church metro. They have a retail shop that fills crowlers, and an upstairs bar. As of today on tap is Triple Crossing, Equilibrium, Charles Towne, The Veil, Final Gravity, and American Solera

Yeah, picked some up last night. It's great and possibly better than the last couple of years' batches.

Yep, it's the best it's been in years. Need to grab some more before it's gone.

In DC by eastern market for the weekend through Monday, worth taking the drive to Aslin (i'll have a car) or just stay in the city? Hoping to get some of the leftovers from Churchkey 10th anniversary

Honestly, now is not the best time to visit Aslin. They've been going through a rough patch with all the transitions. The new beers they're releasing are some of the first they've brewed on the new, larger Alexandria equipment, and they're still trying to figure things out and dial things in on that system. The repeat brews they've released recently, by all accounts brewed on the old Herndon equipment, have drawn criticism for inconsistency in color, taste, hop burn, mouthfeel, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed they can work their way out of this quickly. In the meantime, there's no shortage of great stuff on tap in DC. I'd take a look at all the NRG taplists and plan accordingly.

Craft Beer Cellar on H St for bottles/cans. Churchkey for draft. You're set.

You could go down to Bluejacket in the Navy Yard. They're a NRG entity as well, but they make some pretty good IPAs and you can eat tots to your heart's content.
